Sean Ennis

CEO/General Manager
Sean Ennis is the sole owner of Ennis Security Services. It was his vision in 1997 to address the armoured car needs in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. His determination and hard work has helped him in the evolution of the company to now include not only a successful Armoured Car division, but also a highly experienced guard division. Ennis Security Services is the sole security provider for the AVDHA and SWNDHA.

Sean has hands on experience working as a program assistant at the King’s Regional Rehabilitation Centre as well as security for Casino Nova Scotia. These experiences have enabled him to better understand the role of a security guard. This understanding allows him to work effectively as a company leader.

Sean has been directly accessible when a member of the management of the District Health Authorities has had a concern, a question, or required urgent assistance. His level of commitment to client satisfaction is unsurpassed in the industry.

Sean is community minded and generously gives his time and financial support to organizations in need.

Sean is a Master Trainer for Non Violent Crisis Intervention. He holds a Police Pistol Instructor Course from the Nova Scotia Department of Justice (Policing and Victim Services). He has successfully completed the Use of Force and Firearms Proficiency Program for Authorization to carry from the Justice Learning Centre. Additional certifications are as follows:

Devin Balsor

Operations Manager
Devin has been employed with Ennis Security Services for over six years and holds a diploma in Business Administration from the NSCC (Sales and Marketing). Devin currently holds the position of Operations Manager. He handles licensure, scheduling, training, operations, and career development issues. Prior to this position, he was employed with Ennis Security Services as a licensed Armed Guard as well as a Private Security Guard. He is committed to remaining current in all areas so that he can anticipate any special needs that should arise.

Having trained in Taekwondo for twenty plus years, Devin holds a third degree black belt and is a three time national medalist. He was voted as Male Athlete of the Year for 2011 from Taekwondo Nova Scotia. Devin has also run a successful Taekwondo business for the last five years. In addition, he has two years of experience working in a group home as a counselor which have provided him with knowledge and skills for the position he holds with Ennis Security Services. He has received certification in the following:

Wanda Balsor

ENNIS Safety Service Manager
Wanda has worked as a Professional in Management and Health & Safety for over 20 years. She is a Certified Health & Safety Consultant, Health & Safety Professional Designation, Certified in Management, and Certified in Professional Management. She has an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate from Ryerson University and a Certificate in Adult Education from Dalhousie University. She has coached and mentored employees to become empowered to be leaders within Health & Safety in their workplace; to embrace the challenges and to continue to work towards changing the Safety Culture and improving their Safety Programs. Additionally, she has developed Health & Safety Programs for a number of companies, as well as Training Material, Programs, Policies, Procedures, Safety Management Systems and Lean Processes.
